Homemade Strawberry Matcha Pop-Tarts
These homemade strawberry Pop-Tarts with matcha glaze are the perfect mix of nostalgic comfort and elevated, bakery-style flair. With flaky, buttery pie dough wrapped around a sweet strawberry jam filling, each bite brings that familiar childhood favorite to life—but with a fresh, homemade twist. The real standout, though, is the matcha glaze, which adds a subtle earthy sweetness and a beautiful pop of color that makes these feel just a little more special and unique.
They’re as fun to make as they are to eat, whether you’re baking for a weekend brunch, a creative dessert, or just leaning into a little nostalgia with a homemade upgrade. Finished with a drizzle of icing and a sprinkle of toppings, they have that charming, handcrafted look that feels straight out of a bakery case. Warm, flaky, sweet, and just slightly unexpected, these Pop-Tarts are the kind of treat that brings a little joy to any moment—and once you try them, it’s hard to go back to the boxed version.
