About Me

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, I’ve been in the kitchen for as long as I can remember, literally since the age of three. Cooking has always been more than a hobby for me; it’s a lifelong passion rooted in family, creativity, and curiosity.

I attended the Culinary Institute of America, where I earned an Associate’s Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. Long before that, I had my first taste of the spotlight when I competed on Food Network’s Kids Barbecue Championship at just 13 years old. Today, I’m a full-time college student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, blending my creative background with a strategic mindset.

I’m a proud vegetarian, an avid traveler, and have been fortunate enough to explore all 50 states, each one adding a little more inspiration to my cooking and storytelling.

I grew up in a big Southern family that truly believes food brings people together. Some of my favorite childhood memories are spending Thanksgiving mornings at my grandma’s house, arriving early to help prepare dinner. We’d talk recipes, swap ideas, and dream up new dishes to try. At home, my mom was always creating elaborate birthday cakes from scratch, which meant someone was constantly making something special in the kitchen. From an early age, creativity, and making things from scratch, was always encouraged.

Travel has always played a huge role in my life. Growing up, my family and I traveled often, and that sparked my love for exploring new places and learning about different cultures. My favorite part of traveling is discovering new foods, tasting local dishes, learning how flavors come together, and bringing those ideas home with me. Those experiences inspire me to recreate recipes with my own twist, and they’ve led me to build a cookbook collection from around the world.

For me, cooking and travel go hand in hand; both are about connection, creativity, and constantly learning something new.
