Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp sea salt + extra for topping
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup tahini + extra for topping
Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and sea salt. Set aside.

    In a large bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

    Mix in egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.

    Add tahini and mix until smooth.

    Gradually fold in dry ingredients until just combined.

    Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheet and lightly drizzle or swirl with extra tahini.

    Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set and lightly golden.

    Immediately sprinkle with sea salt and let cool on the pan.
