Ingredients
  • Pizza dough (use your favorite recipe or buy it from the store)
  • Fresh mozzarella pearls
  • Pepperoni
  • Olive oil (as needed)
  • Basil (for garnish)
  • Pizza sauce (for dipping)
  • Cooking twine
Instructions

    Lightly stretch out a small amount of pizza dough (90 grams each).

    Add pepperoni and mozzarella to the center of stretched dough and shape the dough into a ball.

    Wrap twine around the middle of the dough ball and tie it. Repeat 4 times ensuring that you turn the dough with each tie.

    Place the dough balls on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and gently brush with olive oil.

    Bake at 425° for 20-25 minutes.

    Allow the pizza rolls to cool slightly and remove the cooking twine with a pair of kitchen scissors.

    Top with basil leaves, serve with pizza sauce, and enjoy!
